Mongolia Itineraries
Latest (8/18/2016): Detailed Itinerary
From Beth Fluke, “Updated Itinerary for Delegation”, Jan 23, 2016:
Dear Delegates,
Attached is the latest update for the September 6-17 Delegation trip to Mongolia. As you know from past trips, the itinerary is just an outline at the moment. We are excited about the contacts we have already made, ones on the drawing board. Please also note the optional extension to the Eagle Festival September 17-21.
As you will note on the attached itinerary we have decided to use Nomadic Expeditions as our principal guide. They are the largest guide in Mongolia, is owned by a Mongolian and capable of strong support. Nomadic Expedition owns The Three Camel Lodge, an award winning ger camp and our home in the Gobi. Take a look at their website.
Our hotel in Ulaanabaatar will be the new Shangrila-La Hotel. We will be staying in Horizon Club level rooms providing access to the Horizon Club Lounge. In the Lounge we will be able to breakfast together, review the day's schedule. In the evening we will have the opportunity to invite speakers while enjoying cocktails and bites.
Please review the attached itinerary. I would appreciate hearing back from you regarding your interest in Mongolia, either yes for sure, maybe or can't make this trip.
Thank you and look forward to hearing from you.
